Flexible Occupancy OR Flexible Move-In Date - Are you and your roommates coming to town at different times? If you have multiple roommates with staggered move-in dates, we can allow each person to start their lease and pay their share of the rent so long as everyone moves in by August 13th, 2021. The staggered occupancy dates must be provided at the time of submitting an Offer to Rent. Alternatively, are you or your roommates unsure of when to move-in? If you are unsure of when you will need to be in Berkeley, we can allow you or your group to sign a lease starting as late as August 13th, 2021. You then have the option to move-in sooner and change the start date with at least 30 days’ notice before the initial lease starts. This must be 1 new start date for the entire unit, no staggered start dates per person.

 

Reduced Security Deposits - Times are tough and Money is Tight! For those that qualify, the security deposit is the greater of $1,000 or $500 per person. Your Move-in costs could be as low as $1,000 plus First Month's Rent.

This North Berkeley neighborhood features some of the best restaurants and cafes in the East Bay. If you enjoy a vast array of neighborhood cafes, great coffee shops, interesting and eclectic retail stores, you will feel instantly at home. UC Berkeley is conveniently located 10 minutes away and a short walk or bicycle ride to the main entrance of campus.

Cheese Board Pizza is a staple among the locals and most popular with UC Berkeley Students. The popular Peet's Coffee is also located in this beautiful north area of Shattuck Avenue.
