This spectacular apartment came available in the off-season due to its recent renovation.  This is unfortunate for us, but great for you.  Given the seasonal nature of the rental market, the Owners don’t expect to receive around $2,895 per month for this apartment, which they would have received in June.  Instead, they are offering to rent this apartment at a below market average rent of $2,295 per month through May 31^st, 2020. 

Berkeley has rent control.  The law prevents us from simply lowering the rent in the off-season and then raising it back up when the market changes.  So, instead, we have to provide our promotions in an unconventional way.  Your terms will be as follows:

If you are unsure of when you will need to be in Berkeley, we can allow you or your group to sign a lease starting as late as August 13th, 2021. You then have the option to move-in sooner and change the start date with at least 30 days’ notice before the initial lease starts. This must be 1 new start date for the entire unit, no staggered start dates per person.
